How Do I Book?
So you are thinking about booking a boudoir session with me? Awesome! First thing you should do if you haven’t already is to take a good look over my website. But I am guessing you may of already done this because you found your way here ;) You can also find lots of information in our private ladies only Facebook group.
The first step after this is to contact us via our Contact Page.
Booking Call
From that initial contact, we book a time in to jump on the phone. I find this is the best way to answer all of your questions and explain to you exactly what happens, how we do it so you know exactly what to expect. Booking a time instead of just calling ensures that you have my full attention and we have yours. Being a Mum, I like to make sure I have a quiet place to talk with all of the info I need in front of me to answer any questions you may have. It also ensures I am not in the middle of a session.
To be honest, I used to find the phone a little scary so I understand that some ladies have a hesitation around it. But I find getting on the phone is not only the best way for us to get to know each other a little better so you can decide if I am the right photographer for you. Boudoir photography is an intimate experience so this is important. This is so you understand the pricing guide more when you look over it. There is never any pressure to book, this is not why we do calls, this is your decision 100%.
Booking
Paying the the booking fee is what secures your session date. This is half the session price and I can be done whilst on the phone. We look at dates and what will suit you best with our availability and we secure your spot. Remember we book up to 9 months in advance. Currently we are booking dates right through October 2022.
How Do I pick a Date?
If you are wanting the session to celebrate a special date or have as a gift such as a birthday or anniversary, then I always recommend booking a date in for around 6-8 weeks before that date to ensure any items you order can be designed and delivered with time to spare. With covid affecting supplies and delivery I am currently saying the sooner the better as we unfortunately have little control over these things. Unless of course it is for your birthday, then we try to book your experience as close to that date as possible. We quite often have ladies coming in on their actual birthday which can be such a memorable way to spend it!
During the Oct/Nov/Dec period, this is peek season for photographers and suppliers. So if you have a special date in mind over this period or into Jan and Feb, I suggest booking even further in advance. Not only do I have more work to get done but my suppliers have a more orders so ordering time takes longer. Not to mention delays in shipping. Over the Christmas/New Year period my suppliers who are also Australian Family run businesses usually close for up to 3 weeks.
Booking in advance also gives you time to choose a collection, create your dream experience and pay it off with my pre payment plans before your session. You will have the option to upgrade that at your viewing if you wish to do so.
Booked In Now what?
Once you are booked in the process will begin. You will receive emails and guides on the lead up to your experience to help you in every way possible. From setting up payment plans or putting your mind at ease, we have got you. This isn’t just a photoshoot, it’s an experience that has a process and we have tried to think of everything to make it that little bit easier for you. Our clients area here on the website has an area just for you that contains everything from guides for the day to updates for whats happening in the studio.
So I hope this covers some of your questions about the booking process! I cannot wait to get you in front of my camera to celebrate your beautiful body.
